Alana had gone back to the dorm room after her meeting with Asher, a smile on her face. She was thrilled to know that she found her best friend from her childhood. Alana had honestly never thought that she'd see Asher again. It had been nice to go to the auditorium of her new - unwanted - school and find Asher there. He grew up gorgeous, that was for sure. But Alana still didn't have feelings for him, she never did. He was like her... non romantic soulmate, if that made any sense. He seemed like the only good thing about this school so far.
Alana was 'unpacking', which meant she had her seven suitcases open on her bed and the empty bed next to her and was standing there and staring at them. She knew she had to put her clothes away first, but she really couldn't see how all her clothes were going to fit into the tiny dresser they provided. Back at East she had no problem with this, she'd had the same room for years and had collected extra dressers, so she had about three for all her things. All she could really do was put away as much as she could and hang up her stuff on the walls.
Alana sighed lightly and grabbed her chair from her desk, dragging it to the door and propping it open. She wanted her door ajar in case one of the East kids needed to talk to her. She walked back to one of the suitcases and pulled her iPod player out. She plugged it in near her desk, then looked around for her purse. "Damn it, what did I do with it?" She mentally retraced her steps, paused, then turned around and pulled the door away from the wall. She smiled, her purse was against the wall. She dragged it out with her foot and looked through it for her iPod. She found it easily, plugging it into the radio and flicking it on. She browsed playlists, looking for her most upbeat one. She'd need to be in a cheerful mood for decoration this imposter room. The first song that blared out was The Rocket Summer's So Much Love. Alana grinned, she adored this song. Her next step was pulling out her laptop and setting it up, hooking herself up to the wireless in the dorm. She signed on AIM, then cranked the volume up on that. She'd want to know if anyone IMed her. Then she left her Sidekick next to the computer. If she got anything, the computer would buzz too.
Alana turned to her shirt suitcase, pulling out a couple and placing them in the open drawer. Underneath the shirts were some underwear and socks, so she pulled the rest out and trying to shove them into her drawer. She slid the drawer closed, then turned and scooped all her undergarments out, tossing those into the drawer above the shirts. Alana smiled and brushed her bangs from her face. Well, that was one down. She danced over to the suitcase and closed it, sliding it under her bed. It was a good thing she has two pairs of sheets since she fully planned on pushing the two beds together into one big bed. Alana looked at the open suitcases, vouching to unpack her pants next.

Madison smiled at her self in the mirror then, turning sideways, checked her outfit. This weekend all the New York kids would be arriving to Colvintown and she had people to impress. Walking over to the table she flipped open her pink Mac laptop, sat down, and quickly signed into AIM. Looking at her buddy list she searched through all the people on and finally clicked on Lee_Lee_Lovebunny. The window to a new Instant Message popped up and she began to type. Hey Lee. Text Vicky and Als for me and tell them, meeting at Starbucks six o'clock. Of course at a time like this there to lazy to sign on. Madi rolled her eyes and struck the enter key.
Pushing herself out of the chair she slipped on a pair of black ballet flats and looked in the mirror once more. Her hair was fully straightened and her bangs were pulled back in a bubble. Black eyeliner framed her bright blue eyes and pink shiny lip gloss covered her lips in many layers. Her complexion was perfect as always and her silver Dior tank draped over her curves. "Amazing as usual, I am so ready for this." Madi knew the Queen Bee from east hazelton in New York was staying behind. She also knew, which is translated to shes pretty sure, that she would have control over a whole different student body. Did they have another leader to look up too?
Walking over to her bed she sat down and leaned back against the wall. It wasn't usual for her to not be doing anything but really she kind of liked it; peace and quiet. Plus, she was thinking to much about the students arriving. Not everyone was to excited about the new arrivals and the fact that schedules and everything would get screwed up, so she had been calming mostly everyone down. It had been a rough week, seems like shes the only excited one. Music was entering into her thoughts as she looked up. Well, there went her quiet time. Where was that coming from?
Leaning up off her bed she walked over to her door and looked out. Mostly all the doors were open in the girls' dorm, they weren't very private at this school. Heading down the hallway she peeked into all the rooms and waved to all the girls sometimes walking into the rooms and making small conversation. Getting back on track she head farther down the hall and stopped at room five. She had found the source of the noise. Raising her eyebrows at the pink-haired girl in the room she put her hands on her hips and let out a huge sigh. "The music is to loud. There are people complaining, and by people. I mean me." She put great emphasis on the word me and tilted her head. Taking a bigger look around the room she noticed it was still plain, besides the laptop, sidekick, and sheets on the beds that had been pushed together. "Oh, by the way," she pointed to the merged beds,"don't count on that staying there. With all you New Yorkers' moving in the haven't finished rooming placements. Someone else might get stuck in here with that iPod of yours." Smirking she began to turn around.

Alana rummaged through the pants suitcase, biting her lip absently. She had a lot of pants, and this wasn't even half of her wardrobe she brought with her. She pulled out a bunch of pairs of skinny jeans in multiple colors and walked over to the dresser. She nudged a drawer open with her foot and slipped them inside. She should be able to fit the rest in. The Rocket Summer died out on her iPod, and the next song to come on was Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard. She smirked and danced back to her suitcase. This song had always reminded her of Asher, and it just amused her now that she had found him. She scooped up the remaining pairs of jeans and headed back to the dresser, placing them inside as she hummed along to the song. Then a cold voice interrupted her thoughts.
"The music is to loud. There are people complaining, and by people. I mean me."
Alana sighed. This was probably the Queen Bee of the school. When Alana turned around she was sure that she'd see blonde hair, perfect makeup, and expensive clothes. She closed her eyes, wincing lightly. Abbi, the Queen Bee of East, had been all of those things but she had also been kind. It was what made Alana like her so much. But sure enough, as Alana straightened and turned around, there stood blond, perfect, and expensive. Great, she hadn't wanted to meet the Queen yet.
"Oh, by the way, don't count on that staying there. With all you New Yorkers' moving in they haven't finished rooming placements. Someone else might get stuck in here with that iPod of yours."
Alana raised an eyebrow and tilted her head, pink and blonde hair sweeping to one side. There was no way she was taking that, since right now she was the highest rank among the New York kids. Alana crossed her arms and leaned on one hip. "Well why don't you go back to your own room then? I don't believe I agreed to gracing you with my presence. And as for the beds..." Alana looked over to the beds, smirking at the hot pink zebra pink sheets, "They're staying like that." Alana smiled hardly, as if dismissing the blonde and headed back to her suitcase, feeling no need to introduce herself. She was technically on the same level as the Queen, so she had nothing more to say. She hadn't expected to talk to the Queen on her first day.
Either way, Alana just snapped the pants suitcase closed and slipped it under the bed. She pulled her suitcase of accessories closer and started shifting through that, trying to figure out where to put it. She could always cram the last drawer with accessories, and the short dresser could have all over hair and makeup products on top. Yeah, that would work. Alana pulled out some belts and headed back to the dresser, still ignoring the blonde at the door.

Pulling a thin purple tank top over her head Jillian let out a big sigh. She hated this new home, this new place. It had gone from cars and traffic to waves and surfing all in a couple days. And now, not that she wasn't expecting it, her father expected her to join the sister school of the beautiful one that at just burnt down only weeks ago. And the worst thing was, her dad actually bought a house in California not wanting to leave his two precious little girls. Like they were living with him anyway?Having already put on a pair of skinny jeans she grabbed her cell phone and stuffed it in her pocket while slipping on a pair of lime green Nikes.
Opening the door to 'her room' at the new house she headed down the hallway and banged on her little sisters door and rattled the knob. "Get up, lazy bum. I'm heading to the pits of hell and I'm dragging you with me! Get dressed. NOW." Ignoring Emilia's moaning and groaning she rolled her eyes and walked down the hall to the living room. Eying her dad on the couch she smiled and went to the kitchen to cook breakfast. As she turned on the oven she felt a vibration on her right side. Pulling out her sidekick she flipped it open and read the screen. Where the hell are you? Get your ass down here! Laughing at the message from Alana she flipped off the oven and ran out the door grabbing her skateboard. Her sister surely wouldn't mind and it's not like her dad's actually going to get up for breakfast anyway, right?
Jilly immediately noticed the weather as she stepped outside. That was one thing about moving here for a year, she actually had air to breathe rather than toxic fumes. Reaching out her right leg she put it on the ground and pushed herself for more speed. Putting it back on her skateboard her pocket buzzed again and she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "God, I'm coming!" Hair blowing in her face she pulled it up into a pony tail and smiled, nodding in approvement. She hated that her hair was so long, but couldn't bring herself to cut it. She had tried that once and ended up running out of the salon with the lady's scissors. Yeah, that didn't go so well.
Noticing the Hazelton school building up ahead she jumped of her board and flipped up to herself as she stopped. Standing there looking at it she sighed and shook her head. This was still all very disappointing to her, she was going to miss the old building back in New York. It was hard to believe that it had burnt down, that all those built up memories were now laying in a pile of ashes. She had started walking in the direction of the dorms and ignored everyone around her. Walking through a kissing couple she laughed and open the doors of the girls dorm. Checking the dorm assignments on the wall she shrugged and sighed at a name she didn't know. Hopefully it wasn't some stuck up princess that didn't know what the hell life actually meant without her daddy's credit card.
Heading up the stairs, two at a time, she searched for her room number. Room one, fun. Spotting her black and purple suitcases she smiled and ran over to them un-zipping the tiny one she pulled out a bag of suckers and smiled, ripping them open. Grabbing a watermelon one she unwrapped it and stuck it in her mouth. It had been over twenty-four hours since she had had a sucker or gum and that was like her nicotine. Do the math. Zipping the suitcase back up she grabbed the handles to everything and drug them into the room. The door was ajar and it looked like no one hadn't been there yet. Yes, maybe they bailed out! Jilly hated people, well ignored them at most, and hated being around them. There were two beds, two desks, to chairs...blah blah blah. Kicking one of the chairs out of her way she sat down at the other one and looked around the room. "Guess this is as good as its gonna get.."
Hearing music blasting down the hallway Jilly smiled and shot up from the chair, running down the hallway. Stopping as the music stopped she heard voices and she could definitely tell one of them was Alana's. She sounded, angry and attitudy. Oh, shit. Listening to the conversation as it ended she laughed and rounded the corner pushing the girl that was on her way out. "You know? I don't mind her music. Even if most of it is innocent boy bands." Falling back wards onto the two beds pushed together she put her hands behind her head and waited for the conversation to go on.

"Well why don't you go back to your own room then? I don't believe I agreed to gracing you with my presence. And as for the beds...They're staying like that." Madison smiled and laughed as she began to turn back around. Most 'princesses' would scoff like it was nothing and turn away, but not her. "Who the hell do you think yo-" Getting shoved out of the doorway she raised an eyebrow at the girl who at just pushed herself in. She rolled her eyes. Ugh. New Yorkers.
"You know? I don't mind her music. Even if most of it is innocent boy bands." Raising an eyebrow Madison smirked and scrunched her hair. These girls had no clue who they were dealing with. "And did anyone really ask for your opinion?"Shaking her head, her blond hair falling around her shoulders, she headed over to the scene girl, putting her hand out in front of her torso. She might be a bitch, but she was one in a sort of polite way. "Madison Paris Sterning. You must be Alana."
Putting her best angelic-yet-ruling look on she decided to explain. "Miss Abbi called me." Though Madi couldn't stand Abbi, for many reasons(one being she was to nice), she was poise enough to have a decent conversation on the phone with her. "Your in charge of your New Yorkers," she bent down next to Alana's ear. "But don't even think about trying to take over my school," Leaning back up she smiled and waved, turning to head out the door.

"Who the hell do you think yo-"
Alana rolled her eyes as Madison started to speak, shoving the belts into her drawer. The blonde was really getting on her last nerve. All Alana wanted to do was put her stuff away and take a nap before she went to explore the town. Well, she'd have to find Jilly first and drag the punk leader with her. It'd be so much more fun to discover Colvintown with Jilly at her side, making wisecracks about all the stupid Californians. Alana was barely listening as Madison spoke, but her eyebrow raised as the Queen Bee was cut off.
"You know? I don't mind her music. Even if most of it is innocent boy bands."
Alana couldn't help the grin as she turned around and watched Jilly shove past Madison with no reguard for the Queen, then fall back onto the bed with an amused look on her face. Jilly always had perfect timing, it sometimes amazed Alana with how the girl could swoop in just in time to help her. Alana looked at Madison, throughly amused at the look of outrage on the blonde's face. Alana couldn't help but compare Madison to Abbi. If the Californians were the one going to the New York campus, Abbi would do everything they could in order to help them adjust. She wouldn't come storming into rooms demanding that they lower their music. She'd go to each room and have a talk with each of the girls, make sure they were alright.
"And did anyone really ask for your opinion? Madison Paris Sterning. You must be Alana."
Alana raised an eyebrow as she watched Madison hold out her hand. Alana stared straight at Madi's face, not taking the hand. She didn't care if she made an enemy in this girl, they'd be heading home after this school year and she wouldn't need to talk to her ever again. Alana definately didn't think that this girl deserved respect, she was nothing more than a bully. Then it occured to her that Madison knew her name, and she wondered how that was possible. Abbi probably called her or something, in a last attempt to help her New Yorkers adjust. Abbi had been more upset over the fact that all the Easterners had to transfer nd uproot their lives rather than the fact that she was losing the school.
"Miss Abbi called me. You're in charge of your New Yorkers. But don't even think about trying to take over my school,"
Alana scowled when the blonde leaned close, supressing the urge to shove her away. Abbi wouldn't approve, and Alana was technically the one representing all the New Yorkers. As she walked out, Alana followed, grasping the door once she was in the hall. "I don't want your school. I want you to leave my school alone until our campus is rebuilt and we can get the fuck out of this hellhole." Ok, so she wasn't as nice as Abbi. Alana slammed the door and locked it, turning back to Jilly with a sigh. "Ugh, prissy bitch. I pity whoever she's roomed with." Alana walked over to the bed and flopped down next to Jilly, closing her eyes.

Jilly closed her eyes and listened to the conversation. She couldn't stand to watch people like, she opened her eyes and looked the blond up and down. Well, like that. It disgusted her. Keeping her eyes opened now she watched the blond stick out her hand in front of Alana. Scoffing she sat up and turned it into a cough, covering her mouth and holding in laughs. Like Alana would dare to shake that bitch's hand.
Pulling her knees up to her chest she buried her head in her lap and held onto her neon nikes, trying to hide the fact she was even paying attention. A few seconds passed before Jilly heard the sound of bangles making their way pass the beds and out the door. And here come the flames.. she thought to herself letting out the laughs she had been holding in the whole time. "I don't want your school. I want you to leave my school alone until our campus is rebuilt and we can get the fuck out of this hellhole." Nodding her head in Alana's direction she thought about the whole 'dad buying a new house' situation. Maybe it was time to tell Alana. "Ugh, prissy bitch. I pity whoever she's roomed with."
Snapping out of her dreaded thought as Alana fell next to her on the bed she un-curled from the ball she was in and stretched out over her, laying her head on the pink haired girl's stomach. "Speaking of, it seems as if I have my room to myself! Why couldn't they have just put us together?" Pouty lips spread across her face as she turned her head to take a glimpse at Alana's expression. Laughing she sat up and put one leg up on the bed, turned toward her friend. Maybe this wasn't such a great time to mention that she wasn't going back to New York next year. The thought absolutely tore her apart already.

Alana pushed a suitcase away from her head and sighed heavily. She already hated this school. The crude Californians, the obnoxious weather... sure, New Yorkers were rude normally, but if somone needed help, they'd be right there to do so. The Western kids were horrible. They made it seem like the New Yorkers came here to steal their campus, and all they wanted was to finish out the school year while their campus was bring rebuilt and go home at the end of the year.
"Speaking of, it seems as if I have my room to myself! Why couldn't they have just put us together?"
Alana looked down at Jilly on her stomach, smiling lightly. Alana had her own room in East, and so had Jilly. Most of the popular clique leaders had their own room. Alana was relieved that it seemed to be going the same way now, she hated sharing a room. "Long as we have our own rooms I'm fine. I don't want to share a room with a Californian." Alana sighed and leaned her head back again, putting her hands behind her head. Her thoughts drifted to Davis, and she frowned lightly. Realizing that she was missing him, she shoved all thoughts of him from her mind. Stupid boy, it was his fault they weren't together any more.
Alana looked back down to Jilly, glad that she was here. "So I might go into town later, see if there's anything good in this hick place." Colvintown wasn't really a hick town, but the two story buildings and only three main roads seemed absolutely barbaric to the savvy New Yorkers. "Do you want to come? There might be a skate park..." she teased. She knew Jilly loved to skate, Alana had wondered how long it had taken Jilly to whip out her board after they had gotten off the plane.
